Everlane Western Boots Review

The cowboy boot craze seems to be going rife at the moment. New shoe arrivals on every chic online boutique are proof of this. Unlike other ankle boots, such as chelsea boots or pointed leather boots, traditional western boots have a particular aesthetic, making them trickier to style. That said, the Western boots that the street style set are sporting this season are much more refined than the rugged styles of the past. Having never owned a pair from Everlane before, I wanted to try them out for myself, and have been road testing their Western Boot in Light Tan Suede for the past couple of months. They come in a variety of colours and leathers but I couldn’t pass up the fresh tan hue and I’ve yet to try any suede shoes from Everlane.

Gift Guide for Her

In my second post of my gift guide series, I’ve curated gifts for the special women in your life. I find some of the best gifts I’ve received are either sentimental gifts or luxury items that I normally wouldn’t buy myself. This gift guide is heavily inspired by items that I already own or that I’ll be gifting to loved ones. And given the shocker of a year we’ve had, you’ll find recurring themes of self-care and luxury in this gift guide. I realise a lot of you might be finding yourselves spending Christmas in partial lockdown or away from loved ones this year due to travel restrictions (we certainly are), so we could all do with an extra bit of spoiling this year.

One Item, Four Ways: Statement Coat

For a lover of muted tones, I realise this coat is a bit of an outlier. The toffee tone is a tad sharper than what you would normally see on me and adds a big pop of colour to any outfit! But I wanted to branch out from my usual colour palette while still adhering to my style ethos – and I’m so glad I did. Not only does it add some fun with its cheery colour, the coat pairs so well with the existing neutrals in my wardrobe while making a bit of a statement.
