Over the past six months, we’ve had to adapt to become productive in places where we normally do the opposite, converting parts of our homes into home offices. The lack of workplace structures makes it hard to stay motivated. I’ve certainly had periods where I’ve struggled with this. To combat this, I’ve managed to force myself to be accountable not only to my colleagues but most importantly, to myself. And given this will be the status quo for the foreseeable future, here are the things I’m doing to ensure I keep my work from home motivation going strong.
I’ve made it no secret that I’ve relied on one too many Everlane cashmere sweaters to get me through a work-from-home day this year. They’re soft, cosy and so luxurious. And while cashmere knits were once among the category of aspirational clothing, Everlane has been one of the fashion players that have made cashmere much more accessible, without compromising on quality. Without a doubt, my most worn knit this year has been my Everlane Cashmere Square Turtleneck in Camel. I love it so much that I’ve recently just added this sage version to my wardrobe.

Without a doubt, the item of clothing that has sat at the top of my favourites list for the past year has been the Reiss Lara Dress in Stone. I was slow to pull the trigger on this when it was first released over a year ago but I finally got my hot little hands on it earlier in the year.
