I ordered three pairs of sneakers and this is a try-on adventure I felt compelled to share with whoever will listen because I think it’s a good one. I have a feeling Nokwol sneakers are going to take off in Australia, so know that I’m looking out for you with this PSA! I hadn’t heard of Nokwol until recently and while it was their sneakers that initially piqued my interest, they’re actually a full service shoe brand with everything from loafers to boots and slides.
Now, I LOVE the sneakers from the Miu Miu x New Balance collaboration that were first released a few years ago – the combo of luxe suede + fun coloured laces is totally my jam – but I very much did not love the price tag. Particularly for sneakers, which are meant to be worn rather than babied – and knowing me, I’d be babying suede sneakers at that price like no tomorrow.

L to R: Tan sneakers, Taupe sneakers, Khaki sneakers
So when I stumbled across Nokwol and their Atlas sneakers (that very much give Miu Miu x NB energy) I knew I had to give them a whirl. In the search for my perfect pair, I bought the same style in 3 different colourways across a couple of different sizes from The Iconic. The sizing notes confused me a little as it does specify that they run a tad small. I’m normally a size AU 6.5 so I ordered both EU 36.5 and 37 to try.
As for the brand, Nokwol was founded by an Australian family who are based in London. Those in the UK have access to the full collection of shoes while we’ve only got a limited range here in Australia.
And I feel like I’m onto a winner here. They very much represent my personal style of comfy but fun – a bougie suede sneaker with contrasting laces and fun colour combos. They’re also easy to dress up or down making them surprisingly versatile. Basically, the ultimate fun mum sneaker.
#1 – Mushroom suede
Off to a strong start here with this taupe pair – I love the subtle flecks of red with the white laces. I bought these in a size 37 and these are very very comfortable. I’m styling them with a really simple outfit here and I would happily go about my day in this ensemble.

#2 – Tan suede
This is the pair that prompted me to look twice in the first place, given how their similarity to the popular tan version of the Miu Miu x New Balance sneakers. The brown is really rich and looks great with the simple navy outfit I’m wearing. I also ordered these in a size EU 37.

#3 – Khaki suede
Finally we have this dark green suede that looks awesome paired with the contrast yellow laces. I bought this pair in a size EU 36.5 (which is the equivalent of my usual size AU 6.5) and despite the sizing notes saying that the sizing runs small, I thought these fit well too.

Honestly, I’ve found it so difficult to pick one pair to hang onto as I could see myself styling all three with different pieces in my wardrobe. But I ultimately decided to keep the most muted of the bunch – the taupe sneakers. They’re incredibly versatile, but the little flecks of red through the thick white laces still given them that bit of fun I was drawn to in the first place. The tan version comes a close second because I love those contrasting orange laces. Size wise, honestly, I could have got away with either the EU 36.5 or 37 but I decided to stick with the EU 37. My feet are slightly wider and I wanted a little extra room to accommodate thicker socks.
First impressions on comfort are also very good – the sneakers feels lightweight and comfortable straight out of the box. I have a feeling this won’t be my only pair of Nokwol sneakers!
Thanks for stopping by!

Cute sneakers!
You can always get some fun laces to swap in on days when you need a pop of colour?
