I started updating my original sale season blog post, but it was getting a tad unwieldy so we’re starting fresh with a part 2 in an effort to keep things cleaner. Since publishing my first blog post, the sale season has become even more festive, and I wanted to call out some more of my favourite brands that have since kicked off their Cyber Week promotions.
Let’s get stuck in.
Foemina – Black Friday Sale (now with a further 20% off)
My friends at Foemina kicked off their Black Friday sale a few days ago and it’s now in the “take an extra 20% off” phase. Check out their sale on their website here. Meanwhile – hot tip! – which I’m personally pretty chuffed to have discover – you can shop a selection of their new season pieces for 30% off at David Jones right here. For reference, I oscillate between a size AU 8 or 6 in their pieces (if it’s roomy, I’ll size down, otherwise, I’ll stick with my usual 8).
David Jones – an epic Black Friday sale
Quick frankly, this sale deserves its own blog post as it is of epic proportions. Fashion, beauty, homewares, tech – you name it, they’ve got it. It started last week but the discounts continue to pile up, in the best way. Dyson is on major sale, R.M. Williams boots are on sale (the style I own is on sale in a lighter colour and my husband’s boots are 20% off), our coffee machine is heavily discounted (this one auto grinds & tamps – great for those who want good coffee but don’t want it to be an intense hobby), current season Foemina is 30% off, our exact Christmas tree is now 30% off (love how this one’s tall but not too wide). I’ve included some of my top picks below.
SHOP MY TOP PICKS FROM THE DAVID JONES SALE
Net-A-Porter – up to 50% off
In the same vain as above, this sale also deserves its own blog post, given they don’t do things by halves when it comes to sale. But in the interests of getting this blog post out asap, I’m dumping my top picks here. In my opinion, you need to approach a Net-A-Porter sale like a big sporting match – a proper browse can only be done with your sleeves rolled up, on a laptop (with many open tabs) and a big cup of tea on hand. Thankfully ya girl has you covered, as I’ve ensured those specific conditions in putting together this edit, my top picks are in the carousel for you below. In addition to those, some additional commentary on some of my sale finds:
- There are soooo many fun and old school adidas sneakers on sale – the ones I’ve featured below are all under $150
- This particular style of jean from Agolde is excellent for petites (it looks cropped on the model but they end up being a wide leg full length jean on us shorties – I will share actual pictures of this soon). FYI – only some of their washes are on sale. Take your usual size if there’s a bit of elastane in them, otherwise I size up if they’re 100% cotton (as they’re going to be a bit more rigid)
- Loewe tortoiseshell sunglasses for $300 (!!)
- My joy-sparking Alemais pants are included in the sale, as well as the matching top
- I’m SO tempted by this dress as I saw Zara McDonald (co-founder of Shameless Media) wear this to a friend’s wedding and her style is impeccable
SHOP MY NET-A-PORTER SALE PICKS
Scanlan Theodore – Archive sale
Scanlan Theodore has just kicked off their BF sale – they’re calling it their “online archive sale” because they’re classy like that. It’s a fantastic place to find “nice top and jeans” appropriate tops. Their parachute material is also a bit magic, and pretty well priced when it’s on sale too. Knock yourself out here.
Henne – 20% off their Black Friday edit
Henne’s BF festivities have just kicked off and they’ve put together an edit of some customer favourites for 20% off (deducted at checkout). Unfortunately, the Valentina jeans aren’t included, which is what I was hoping for, but there is still a solid selection of pieces including the super popular Nova jacket, the Mara jacket (pictured above) and plenty of “nice top & jeans” appropriate tops to choose from. Power Of My People – 20% off site wide
My numero uno shirt brand is running a rare 20% off site wide sale if you use the code POWERFORGOOD at checkout.
