We’ve officially entered sales season – the Olympics of shopping – and honestly, it feels like all the prep has led to this moment. We’ve digested all of the sale emails, bookmarked things, tracked the prices of things and now… it’s GO TIME.

As is my usual practice, I’m not doing an exhaustive list of every retailer under the sun. No diplomacy here, folks. I’m playing favourites – the pieces I own, love, and would recommend to my closest friends, and the retailers I genuinely shop from. My blog, my rules.

Meanwhile, I’ll continue to update this blog post as more retailers go on sale, so make sure you check back every so often as I’m intending this to be your one-stop shop.

Merit Beauty – 20% off site wide!

The sale just kicked off today with Merit offering 20% off site wide (and an extra 30% off some shades and an extra 20% off some sets). All first orders will also receive one of the brand’s iconic signature bags. I first tried Merit Beauty during the Black Friday sales last year. I went all in and bought one of their curated sets and haven’t looked back since. It has been one of my best beauty discoveries. Every time I slap on makeup, I have at least one Merit product on my face.

Bellroy – 25% off!

I cannot not mention Bellroy, my favourite carry brand with the most comfortable and organised bags on the market. Their Black Friday landing page can be accessed here. Anna Quan – Black Friday Sale

I have an entire blog post dedicated to my top picks from Anna Quan’s end of season sale. It’s one of my favourites to shop every year because the discounts are solid. A lot of pieces have already sold out since the sale went live earlier this week but I’ve linked some pieces below that are still available in a few sizes. For reference, I wear AU 8 / S in her pieces.

I have to do a call out for my most worn accessories brand. Their earrings are a staple and work to elevate the simplest of outfits. I’ve had some of their earrings for over 2 years and given they’re heavily plated, they’ve yet to tarnish. My favourite styles that you’ve seen me constant wear are in the carousel below.

JAG – 25% off!

JAG has had a real refresh over the past year or so and kicked off their a site wide 25% off sale earlier this month. Their current designs feel modern and elevated, and their summer shirting in particular is very fun. If you haven’t checked out the brand recently, this is your sign. I’ve included a few of their pieces below that I’ve had a chance to personally try myself. Any of these tops would make excellent additions to your summer rotation.

MY TOP PICKS FROM JAG’S BLACK FRIDAY SALE

Nobody Denim Jeans – 30% off

While I’m rounding up my top sales picks, I wanted to call out the jeans I’m wearing in the image above with my JAG shirt. They’re a new addition, but a good pair of jeans is always so hard to come by. The jeans are from Nobody Denim and they’re new season but currently 30% off as part of the Black Friday sale period.

They’re a relaxed cut, zip fly and a great warm-toned off-white colour. Nobody Denim has been one of my favourite denim brands for over 10 years. You can check out some of their other styles on sale here. Size-wise, I usually wear a size 26 (if their denim has some elastane) or a size 27 (if their jeans are made of rigid denim).

Sea Level Swimwear – 30% off selected swimmers

Sea Level is the only swimwear brand that I feel comfortable wearing. They make fantastic swimmers, but their one piece swimsuits are a stand out, especially if you want structure, support and a bit of shaping while you’re at the beach or the pool. They feel like shapewear in the best possible way.

The two styles I’ve featured above are styles I highly recommend, particularly the navy swimsuit on the left that I bought a few years ago and still holding up very nicely. This sale is an event in itself, given the blanket markdowns across all categories. When it comes to designer pieces (landing page here), it can be a bit of a bonus for us Aussies – particularly when the pieces are marked down more generously here than by overseas counterparts.

Myer

If you’re already checking out David Jones, you may as well check out it’s main competitor. I actually find Myer’s range of electrical appliances to be more solid than DJ’s worth a look here if you fancy.

The Iconic

The Iconic rounds out the holy trinity of Australian retailers with a huge Black Friday sale. With a friendly returns policy, you can’t go wrong.

Oroton Outlet

Everything is heavily discounted at the moment for the Black Friday sale season. Most of the bags on the outlet are half price with an additional 10% off.

Tony Bianco

You can take an further 20% off their sale items as part of their current promo.

Ally Shoes

My go-to brand for actually comfortable heels! Ally is running their biggest sale of the year with everything in stock discounted by 20% off and all made-to-measure shoes 15% off. I’ve harped on about the brand for years – my comprehensive YouTube video on the brand is below for you. The video is a couple of years old and given I only had 4 hours sleep last night due to my youngest’s current bedwetting antics, I can’t help but notice how well rested I look (and how bitter I am towards past-Virginia).
