With the long weekend upon us and the cooler weather properly setting in, the mood is very much: slow mornings, something warm in hand, and absolutely no plans that require removing a coat.
To mark the occasion (and the seasonal shift), this very much calls for a cosy winter edit. I’ve pulled together a round-up of stylish, cosy things I either own, love, or currently have sitting in an open tab. From elevated outerwear to small luxuries that make staying in feel like a lifestyle choice, this edit is less about hibernation and more about winter, but make it chic.
Scroll on for some current favourites – all guaranteed to bring a little warmth to your weekend, and beyond.

Small luxuries, big comfort
- How cute is this faux fur hot water bottle cover (complete with pom poms!). On chilly days, I’ll have one of these bad boys on my lap when I’m working from home and this one’s currently on sale!
- Another working from home hero has been this tinted lip oil makes me a feel put together when I’m not putting on a full face of make up. Merit can do not wrong in my eyes, I love their entire range. This particular lip oil has a beautifully subtle but difference-making colour.
- This juicy lip oil has been a lifesaver particularly as the weather has cooled down – somewhere between skincare and gloss — a cold weather essential.
- This is the chicest hot water bottle I’ve ever seen – Burberry, because of course. Currently on sale but still very much in “treat yourself” territory.
- Along the same boujee theme, how about a luxe cushion for your sofa? The iconic Polo Bear features on this one and it’s delightful.
- Winter means our skin generally needs an extra bit of TLC, this is the hand cream I keep at my desk, it’s hydrating, non-greasy, and the scent is lovely.
- My go-to slippers that feel like clouds – it’s the WFH shoe that won’t ruin your outfit (and they also have arch support!) I have a old pair in Burgundy from a few years ago and they’re my go-to slippers that I wear all the time and even take with me on trips.
- This cult-fave tomato candle – it smells like an actual glasshouse and burns beautifully. This one is at the top of my wish list for when I’ve finished with my current candle.
- …and here’s the honeysuckle version if you’re after something softer – fresh, slightly sweet, very elegant.
- A burgundy cashmere knit that layers beautifully – the colour alone makes it feel elevated.

Cosy layers & accessories that spark joy
- Winter isn’t winter without chic accessories – this luxe scarf with a logo twist is an easy one to style thanks to its go-with-anything colour.
- There’s also this fringed version that does all the work (and would instantly upgrade any coat!)
- These are the kind of gloves that you buy once and wear forever – classic, sleek, and a little bit luxe.
- A pop of pink cashmere (and an accessible way to tap into the kitschy Anya Hindmarch world!) – there’s still lots of sizes left in this Uniqlo cashmere knit. I opted for pink and have LOVED styling this! (I bought a size S by the way)
- This ribbed beanie (from the same range) – it’s so cute! and fun! and wearable!
- This punchy fleece layer for when you want to stay toasty… (and visible). Honestly, Patagonia fleece is supreme, and their mustard yellow shades are unmatched. I have a mustard fleece jumper from a few years ago and it’s become my personality. I’m convinced everyone at school drop off thinks I only own the one jumper.
- A flannel shirt that looks better oversized – this was a recent purchase of mine and it’s polished enough for me to wear to the office, but it feels like a warm hug. I’ve worn this as a shirt, but also love styling it as a shacket.
- For some outer layers that actually spark joy, here’s a denim jacket with a twist – the contrast collar makes it feel instantly more styled. I’ve had my eye on this classic barn-style coat since it was released – though sizes are going very quickly in this one. There’s also this varsity-inspired jacket – think sporty but elevated.
Whether you’re curling up with a book, layering up for a crisp walk, or chauffeuring kids to weekend sport (hopefully with a coffee in hand!), I hope there’s something in here to make your winter a little more wearable – and a lot more stylish. Have a cosy long weekend! And thanks for stopping by!
P.S. I’ve just kicked off my outerwear series and you can have a nosey at the first post (featuring the classic trench coat!).
