I attended this event as a guest of THE ICONIC but was not obliged to prepare this blog post.

Earlier this week, I made my way to Olympus Dining for a lunch hosted by THE ICONIC, where we were treated to an incredible meal and a first look at new-season pieces from Lover and Minima Esenciales. You know – just your standard mid-week workday lunch, complete with a 50-year-old olive tree as the centrepiece, an iconic glass ceiling, and a perfectly dressed guest list consisting of 80 of my closest gal pals.

Both brands are masters of the “effortless-but-considered” formula. Lover leaned into soft, romantic silhouettes this season, while Minima Esenciales continued their reign of everyday pieces that feel polished without trying too hard. I left full (of thick-cut chips and fried zucchini) and felt very inspired.

Outfit-wise, I wore an off-shoulder dress from Lover with detailed ruching that created a drop-waist effect. The ruching also offered a bit of stretch – which I fully took advantage of during the banquet lunch. Over the top, I threw on this chocolatey-plum blazer from Lover in an oversized cut. I styled both pieces with my tall boots from Wittner (new season version linked as mine are from last year) and my Loewe bag – always an excellent plus-one for these kinds of shindigs. The whole look was tonal, comfortable, and just elevated enough that I didn’t feel out of place next to a tablescape that definitely had its own stylist.

It was such a treat to catch up with some of my favourites in the creator space who somehow manage to make mid-week look effortless and editorial. I especially loved seeing Cat Sanz, who flew down on an early-morning flight and, as always, made the juggle look impossibly cool.
Big thanks to THE ICONIC, Lover and Minima Esenciales for the chicest workday lunch I’ve had in a while and for dressing me for the event. As always, thanks for stopping by!
