I attended this event as a guest of Sportscraft but was not obliged to prepare this post.

With the Olympics due to kick off in a few weeks, Sportscraft (the official outfitters of the Australian Olympic team’s formal uniforms) threw a party to kick off the festivities! The cocktail event was held at Icebergs Bar + Kitchen where guests were treated to cocktails and canapés against the backdrop of the iconic Bondi Beach. One of my colleagues joked at how weird it was to see everyone get so dressed up at Icebergs when so many people get undressed there 😅 On one side of the room, baguettes were stacked high in a kitschy nod to Paris, and on the other, the uniforms hung proudly for guests to soak in the detail. I get to attend some pretty cool events from running my blog, but events like this, where fashion connects with something as significant as the Olympics, are real pinch me moments.

There is no doubt of all the feel-good stories that will come out during Olympics and I love how it connects all of us together watching from around the world. The competition, the drama and the triumph… we’re all wired to love it!

Thanks to Sportscraft for inviting me and dressing me for the event. And as always, thanks to you for stopping by!
