Since adding my Loewe Flamenco bag to my wardrobe, I’ve been surprised by how easy it has been to style. The design of the bag is simple, but in an uncharacteristic move on my part, I decided to broaden my horizons with a green bag, which completely sticks out in the sea of neutral coloured bags I own!

I didn’t opt for a “neutral” green coloured bag either and decided to give bright green a chance – encouraged by the fact that it was on sale, but also because I’ve been on the hunt for a small statement clutch-style bag for a while (You might recall I got my hopes up with this bag, but it just wasn’t quite right). Despite my new handbag being a brighter green, it’s proven versatile and has complemented all of the neutral tones I’ve styled it with – black, grey, white and navy. But it also pairs beautifully with contrasting colours like pink and bright blue.

In today’s post, I wanted to share five outfits that I’ve styled with my new bag. And it’s worthwhile pointing out that I didn’t have to think too hard when putting these outfits together – the bag just worked with all of them. I’ve rounded up some green handbags from designers including Gucci, Bottega and Acne Studios if you’re keen to go green. There’s a mix of softer pastel shades and vibrant tones for you to browse through.

My own wardrobe is predominantly neutral, but it is shifting away from that as I’ve embraced a lot more colour in the past couple of years. I’ve loved accenting my looks with my newest bag. It has elevated my simple neutral outfits and proving to be a versatile ‘pop of colour’ bag.
