As anyone who schleps to and from an office knows, figuring out what to wear to work every day can be quite the challenge. It’s particularly painful to get into the swing of things when coming back from annual leave. I’m sure a lot of you can relate with my sentiments that the Christmas/New Year break was not enough!!

That said, the start of a new year is often a great time to reflect on the year that was, and I took the opportunity to assess things in the wardrobe department – what worked, what didn’t. In this post, I’m sharing with you one of my best discoveries of 2023 – Ally Shoes. I discovered their shoes as I was navigating my return to work last year during the January period and it set the tone for my year. In this post, I’m going to highlight 3 styles from the brand that will no doubt equip you in putting your best foot forward as you return to work.

Despite the fact that I have a pretty solid shoe collection, it pains me to say that many of those pairs don’t fit me perfectly. My feet are on the wider side and over the years, I’ve spent more money than I’m willing to admit on shoes that give me blisters, squish my toes and just end up being so damn uncomfortable. The fact that I’m petite doesn’t help, as I can’t deny the confidence-boosting powers of a pair of heels, particularly in an office environment when I’m trying to assert mah authoritahhh. And it’s a tale as old as time that traditional heeled shoes were NOT designed to be comfortable.

Cue Ally Shoes – a true disruptor in the footwear space, as their heels are designed by a podiatrist with comfort as a priority. There’s arch support, a toe bed, rubber sole, 4 different widths to choose from and proper padding inside the shoe. Their micro size range (US 4.5 through to 12) is offered in half sizes so you can tailor your shoes to fit you properly. It’s been a year since Ally Shoes came into my life and it’s safe to say that the honeymoon period is far from over! They are, by far, my most comfortable heels for work.
