When I think about my ideal outfit, it’s ensembles like this that come to mind. Something that’s modern and easy while being comfortable at the same time. All of the pieces I’m wearing are classic items that may already be in your wardrobe and effortlessly work together. I wore this outfit a couple of weekends ago, and I wasn’t thinking too much when getting dressed that morning driving home the point that if you invest in good quality staples, getting dressed becomes a straightforward task.

Marks & Spencer trench coat* (sz UK 8), Sezane knit (sz XS – similar style here and here), Nobody Denim jeans (sz 26, petite), adidas sneakers, Gucci bag (read more here), Ray Ban sunglasses

The knit is a couple of years old from Sezane (here’s a similar style here and here – I wear a size XS), the henley neckline adds some versatility with how it can be styled. I’m relying on my favourite jeans from Nobody Denim from their petite range (currently 30% off!) which are designed for fellow shorties like me who are 5’3 and under (I’m 5’2 for reference). While I maintain my shoes are a classic style, they’re arguably the trendiest item I’m wearing! There’s no denying the adidas Sambas are having their moment. Like many others, I paid a premium for this pair on Farfetch (P.S. You can read this blog post where I share my sizing tips given the confusing sizing).

My outer layer is my trusty M&S trench coat, which you’ll recognise from many a reel I’ve posted on my Instagram. In my opinion, it’s one of the best pieces you can buy from the high street given how well it’s cut and the fact that the fabric is water repellent. The Burberry trench coat has long been on my wish list but I become less and less inclined to pull the trigger because of how much I love the M&S version (which is roughly 3.5% of the cost of the Burberry! 😜)

Finally, I’ve finished things off with my Gucci Horsebit 1955 bag. I’ve had this bag for almost two months and the newness still hasn’t worn off. It’s a love story for the ages.

As always, thanks for stopping by!
