I still feel a bit out of practice when getting dressed for work – hybrid work has meant that I proudly spend half of my working hours in activewear so it always feels like I’m playing dress up when I’m heading into the office. The dress code at my office is quite permissive, which means there’s quite the range of outfits on display. It’s an observation I can make about office workers in the city – not many are going full corporate like they used to – except maybe the top end of town.
I like to pitch things in Smart Casual Land – it’s a land I only really visited on Fridays, but alas, these are the times we live in! In my latest reel, I share 5 different outfits for work that are casual-ish – they straddle the smart casual/casual line depending on how you need to pitch things for your workplace.
I feature my trusty Everlane sneakers throughout the reel which are a couple of years old and still available.
I hope these outfits provide some inspiration for your workwear rotation.
