It has been a season of boot wearing and I’ve made the most of it! As far as I’m concerned, there’s a boot for every occasion and in today’s post, I wanted to talk about how I’ve worn my knee high boots for the past few months. Every year, I can’t wait to break out my winter gear and this year, I’ve been most excited about the boots that I’ve managed to wear.

Now I’m a shortie, looking at you from down here at 5’2” (or 158cm), and so a bit of height never goes array. That being said, the pandemic has put me out of practice with wearing heels and while I used to schlep around in 10cm heels with no issue, these days I don’t take it further than a mid-heel.

Specifically speaking, this style from Jane Debster is amazing. Not to mention, they have a comfortable block heel (in a walkable mid-heel height) to ease you into a bit of height if you’re not so inclined. Wear them over jeans, with a dress, or with a mini skirt. Truly, any way you style these, you can’t go wrong. Which probably explains why I have these in two colours – black and chocolate brown.

It’s not the easiest task finding a pair of flattering knee high boots as a petite, but after a lot of trial and error, these ones are my pick!
