I love the cooler weather. But trying to put together an outfit that’s comfortable, won’t leave you feeling cold but still make you feel like the best version of yourself is not an easy task.

After some rainy weeks, the sun has finally come out, and here’s a version of my current go-to outfit and the pieces that I find myself reaching for. There’s a mix of some old and new favourites. You can tell I’ve really leaned into my neutral palette over the years!

With another month of winter left to go, you can expect to see a few more cold weather outfits on the blog before the weather warms up (as I take full advantage of the disproportionate number of jackets that are hanging in my wardrobe 😉)

Today’s outfit is the perfect mix of chilled and comfy. I’m wearing a Toteme jacket, one that I managed to nab second hand a couple of years ago. It’s their signature Annecy coat that’s in a shorter jacket style.  I’m wearing the smallest style on offer and it has a  relaxed and oversized cut. Underneath, I’ve layered a merino knit tee from Arket, which is one of my greatest discoveries this year.  I bought it earlier this year (as you would have seen in my Arket video) and I recently picked it up in a dark brown colour to mix and match. Size wise, I wear a size S. It’s a fitted style and the sizing works well.

The pants are ones I’ve worn many a time, the Dream Pants from Everlane – a tailored looking trouser that’s actually just a pair of jazzed up sweat pants. They’re a pair of pandemic pants that I’m not quittin’ now that things are returning back to normal! My boots are a low block heel boot from Sarah Flint. They’re made from a hardwearing crosta suede that has been treated for all of the elements. While I’ve heard they’re amazing in the rain, I’m not quite brave enough to wear them in the wet weather. They’re just a bit too pretty! But it’s nice to know that if I do find myself caught in the rain, that the shoes will be up to scratch. To house my things for the day and to finish off my looks, I’m wearing my Celine Nano Luggage bag that I managed to score preloved earlier this year.

As always, thanks for stopping by.

P.S. Be sure to check out my outfit diary where I feature outfits that don’t always have their own dedicated blog post or end up on my IG feed.
