Brrrrrr! Winter has arrived in my part of the world and I’m relying on some good ol’ winter saviours to see me through the cold season. Thankfully winters in Sydney aren’t bitterly cold as they would be in other parts of the world – we’re lucky enough here that you can still brave the outdoors without compromising on your personal style.

I threw this outfit together really quickly to go out for a lunch time walk and grocery shop with my husband. Too much brown? Perhaps… but I was pretty warm and toasty! You might recognise this signature Annecy Coat from Toteme. The chocolate brown was released last year so I will have the new season versions linked if you fancy the style. It strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and dressy. And while the exaggerated lapels and oversized silhouette are very of the moment, I still consider this to be a classic piece. My Acne Studios Canada Scarf adds an additional brown tone to this look. Their scarves are worth every penny – I wear them as both scarves and wraps because they’re deliciously oversized.

Underneath all those toasty layers, I’m wearing my Everlane Cashmere Crew in Canvas and my trusty Nobody Denim high rise skinny jeans. Both items I have waxed lyrical about on this blog before! As for my shoes, I’m sporting a pair of knee high flat boots from Sandler. These are great if you have short legs and chunky calves like me (#thicccalvesrepresent!). I expand them when wearing jeans and take them back in when wearing the boots with dresses (as you would have seen here). And they have a rubber sole which means 1. no slipping and 2. comfy, much?! My look is finished off with the newest addition to my wardrobe, the Isabel Marant Lecce Belt. I finally bit the bullet on this belt and I’m so pleased with it! Rest assured I will share my thoughts on the belt very soon.
For more wintery bits, I’ve rounded up my Top 10 Winter Essentials in a recent YouTube video linked below. I had a lot of fun putting this together. Let me know what some of your winter essentials are!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
P.S. Leopard print pumps you can style as neutrals and a smart casual OOTD.
