Sunglasses might be a small accessory, but they wield a mighty power!  A great pair can give you a huge boost of confidence and elevate your entire outfit.  One of my most asked questions on Instagram is about the sunglasses I wear.  I don’t have an extensive sunnies collection as I don’t often buy sunglasses.  Once I’m onto a good thing, I stick with it.  That said, in the past year alone, my collection has somewhat ‘exploded’ as I’ve added two new pairs to my collection bringing the grand total to four pairs – I wish my handbag collection experienced the same growth rate! 😝

With sunnier days ahead, I thought I’d talk through my entire collection if you’ve been on the hunt to add a pair – or two – to your collection.

Ray-Ban Clubmaster Fleck in Tortoise & Black

Ray-Ban sunglasses (US/Everywhere else), Sezane knit (sz XS), Nobody Denim jeans

You can never go wrong with a timeless sunglass silhouette like the classic Clubmaster from Ray-Ban.  They’re a practical, no-fuss shape and come in so many different colour combinations.  My Clubmasters are by far my most worn sunglasses and feature in the majority of photos on the blog and Instagram.  I don’t have much of a nose bridge, and these work well on my face thanks to the nose pads. I really feel like these will stand the test of time and have had no trouble styling these in both casual and dressy looks.

Celine Baby Audrey Cat-Eye Acetate Sunglasses in Tortoiseshell

Celine sunglasses, Sezane knit (sz XS), Nobody Denim jeans

This is the newest pair in my collection that I picked up a couple of weeks ago after paying a visit to the Celine boutique (…walking out empty handed, but then placing an order on Matches that evening!).  You’ll notice a theme in my sunglasses collection – I love a good tortoise shell frame as I think it’s a nice contrast to my dark hair.

I tried these on for fun when I paid a visit to the boutique and I didn’t think these would work as they’re quite oversized.  To my surprise, they fit me quite well (despite being acetate frames with no nose pads) and have been my go-to sunglasses since I added them into my wardrobe.  The Baby Audrey style has been around for years and are a classic style.  I’ve got these in the tortoise shell/green colourway.

Celine Catherine Square Acetate Sunglasses in Black

Celine sunglasses, Sezane knit (sz XS), Nobody Denim jeans

I picked up the Catherine sunglasses during last year’s Black Friday sales.  At the time, I was umming and ahhing between the all-black pair and the black/tortoiseshell pair, opting for the former because I figured I couldn’t go wrong with a classic black pair of cat eye sunnies.  I’m pretty happy with my decision and consider these to be the dressiest pair in my collection.  Again, these don’t have the nose pads as you’d find on metal frames but they fit my face well.

Pared Eyewear Round & Around Sunglasses in Light Tortoise Black

Pared sunglasses*, Sezane knit (sz XS), Nobody Denim jeans

I received these as part of a PR package from LTK Australia a couple of months ago and I was so chuffed that these sunglasses were included!  The ‘Round & Around’ frames are a new release from Pared Eyewear and they’re a great style.  They’re an oval cat-eye silhouette in a black/tortoiseshell frame (I know, so me right?!) and the corners of the frames have a notched detail complete with the signature Pared deco corners – a great twist on a classic frame. They notably lighter than the Celine sunglasses I own, so I’ll tend to grab these if it’s going to be an active day with the kids.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

P.S. A try-on of the iconic Gucci loafers – the Brixton vs Jordaan (and which pair I picked).

I’m glad I stumbled upon your blog as I am wanting to purchase the Baby Audrey or Catherine sunglasses by Celine.. I have a small face (I’m petite all over – my height is 5ft) so you get the picture.. you look petite also, so I am wondering if you think these sunglasses would generally fit a small face? Thanks šŸ™‚

I’m 5’2 so I’m petite as well šŸ™‚ I think the style is flattering on most face shapes (and most face sizes) but I think the main issue is whether the frames will sit well on your nose bridge. They’re generally oversized but they’ll look great if they sit (and stay) on your face. Hope that helps!
