To continue on with the dress theme that the blog has seemed to embrace recently, earlier this month I was lucky enough to receive these dresses a few weeks before their release – the Everlane Shirred Mini Dress. The style was released earlier this year in white, black and a brown floral print (the last of which sold really quickly! see here) and due to popular demand – they’re back! – and now available in sandstone floral and navy floral. If you prefer your prints to be subtle and muted, you’re going to love these.

I’m a huge fan of the design of the dress – it features a clean stand collar, shirred detailing across the chest, puffy sleeves and a billowy (twirl-friendly!) shape. The dress is made from a soft cotton so it’s an easy option for the weekend with your Birkies, but can easily be teamed with some strappy sandals or pointed flats for an occasion too. I’ve styled the dress in both in the images below just to give you a bit of inspo.

Size wise, I went with a size XS and it’s a short playful length. For reference, I’m 5’2″/158cm and it sits above my knees (a great option for petites… and confident Amazonians 😜). I would also wear this as a top tucked into a pair of shorts if a dress isn’t the most practical choice for the day ahead.
