Interrupting your regularly scheduled programming with some summer outfit inspo for my Northern Hemisphere pals! I see you on my Insta feed soaking up the sunshine and heading out and about and I’m totally envious – of both your weather and your freedom!

I love an easy-breezy, one-and-done outfit and let’s face it, the last thing you want during the height of summer is wear something fitted and uncomfortable – especially if you’re out and about on the weekend. Finding pieces that work for a day’s worth of activities is crucial and I think a romper is ideal. Aside from being a one-and-done piece, they’re incredibly versatile – I’ve dressed mine up with my Gucci belt but you can also take it up a notch by popping on a pair of heels for a date night.

This Everlane Denim Short Coverall is a lovely throwback – my Mum rocked the same style romper in her youth! – and there’s a reason why they never go out of style. This is a pretty classic take – light wash denim (that’s non-stretch but feels noticeably soft), relaxed short sleeves, oversized pockets and an elastic waistband. This is a new release for Everlane and ships later this week. Size wise, I took a size US 2 and it’s a great relaxed fit on me. I was a little apprehensive about the romper being too short before I received it but I think the shorts are a great modest length. I’ve paired the romper with these sequoia red sandals (also a new release) – an effortlessly stylish pair of sandals that slip on and look great with anything.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
P.S. Five effortless one-and-done pieces for the transitional season and five alternatives to skinny jeans.
