10 Wardrobe Favourites Currently on Sale

It’s that time of year again where our inboxes overflow with sale notifications from retailers trying to clear stock to make way for the new season. On that note, a fair few of my wardrobe favourites are now reduced, so here’s a neat little round-up for you to scroll through.

#1 – Toteme Annecy Houndstooth Coat

Now 30% off

Toteme coat (sz XS), Everlane jumper* (sz XS), Everlane trousers* (sz US 2, short), Celine bag (review here), Sarah Flint pumps (review and discount code here), Gucci belt (review here). Ray Ban sunglasses

Without a doubt, one of my favourite winter coats to wear this year! I was so happy to finally get my hands on Toteme’s signature coat in their houndstooth print. It’s deliciously oversized and drapes beautifully. I’ve made good use of it for both work and weekend.

#2 – Reiss Sia Jacket in Navy

Almost 50% off

Reiss coat, Everlane pants* (review here), Nicholas Kirkwood loafers (review here)

Just ordered this one and it’s currently in transit! I contemplated buying this at full price when I tried it on a couple of months ago in David Jones but when I got to the till, I bailed as I couldn’t swallow the $800 AUD price tag for a wool blend coat (Reiss is one of those brands that makes me want to splurge..) I haven’t stopped thinking about it since though, it’s a very stylish cut – and with it now being almost half price, I pounced! I ordered a size UK 6 but could have also taken a UK 8.

#3 – Everlane Washable Silk Henley

Now 30% off

Everlane Washable Silk Henley* (sz 0 – review here), Dr Denim jeans*, Gucci belt (review here), Sarah Flint pumps* (review here), Celine bag (review here), Ray Ban sunglasses

This piece doesn’t have the greatest hanger appeal but it has been one of my most worn pieces. I’ve worn it to work, on the weekend running after the kids, and on a WFH day. It elevates the most basic of looks but I love that it’s a low maintenance and machine washable silk. I took a size US 2 and it fits me really well.

#4 – Everlane Cashmere Square Turtleneck

Now 50% off

Everlane knit* (sz XS), Everlane cropped trousers* (sz 2), Sarah Flint pumps* (review & discount code here), Celine bag (review here), Ray Ban sunglasses

Ah, one of the true workhorses in my wardrobe. I have this knit in five different colours – the grey being one of my most worn. I take either a size XS or S in this knit – they both work. It’s a boxy cropped cut with fitted arms and looks great both tucked or untucked. You really can’t go wrong with this one.

#5 – Reiss Lara Dress in Berry

Now 50% off

Reiss dress (sz S), Celine bag (review here), Tony Bianco mules

One of my favourite dresses in my wardrobe is the Lara dress by Reiss. While the stone version of the dress (pictured above) remains at full price, this deep burgundy tone is now half price! A steal considering how popular it is. I took a size S but could have also sized down to a size XS.

#6 – Everlane Stroopwafel Turtleneck in ReCashmere

Now 30% off

Everlane knit* (sz XS), The Frankie Shop trousers (sz S), Celine bag (review here), Dior slingbacks, Ray Ban sunglasses

What’s better than cashmere? Recycled cashmere! This textured cream knit has kept me warm and snuggly and looks fab with tailored trousers to the office and with jeans on the weekends. If you’re wondering about the difference between pure cashmere and recycled cashmere, the recycled version isn’t as soft but it does soften up with wear. I grabbed my usual size XS but could have also happily sized up to a size S for a more relaxed fit.

#7 – Everlane Cashmere Crew in Grey & Sage

Now 50% off

Everlane knit* (sz XS), Everlane trousers* (sz 0), Dior slingbacks, Celine bag (review here), Ray Ban sunglasses

Another serious wardrobe workhorse of mine is the cashmere crew from Everlane. This colour way I’m sporting here has been included as part of the sale. It features two colours – sage and grey – though they’re very subtle and it’s hard to tell them apart. I love both of these tones and think they pair perfectly when combined in the one knit! Sizing wise, I grabbed a size XS – they’re TTS.

#8 – Everlane Pleated Chino in Sandstone

Now 35% off

Everlane chinos* (sz 2), Marle top (sz 8), Atmos & Here Sandals, Senreve bag* (use WHATVEEWORE for $50USD off), Loewe belt, Ray Ban sunglasses

A great everyday classic staple to give your denim a bit of a break. I love the sandstone colour of these – they’re very easy to style. I went with my usual size 2 and they fit me well. They do come up a tad long on me and I am contemplating a visit to the tailor (once lockdown is over of course). I otherwise cuff them up a couple of times so they sit on my ankles.

#9 – The Fold Isola Shoes

Now 30% off

The Fold shoes*, The Curated coat* (sz XS), Everlane knit* (sz XS), Everlane jeans* (sz 26, ankle), Gucci belt (review here), Celine bag (review here), Ray Ban sunglasses

These low block heels are both comfortable and stylish. They’re a mock-croc in a very easy to match light grey hue (though they come up more like a cream in my opinion). And you know me, I love a pointed toe and how it works to elongate my petite frame – these have been a favourite of mine to wear to the office.

#10 – Atmos & Here Sandals

Now 75% off

Atmos & Here sandals, The Curated coat* (sz XS), Everlane crew* (sz XS), Nobody Denim jeans (sz 26), Gucci belt (review here), Celine bag (review here), Ray Ban sunglasses

Lastly these minimal sandals look amazing and are also surprisingly comfortable considering. These are an absolute steal at $21.95 so I’ve taken advantage an ordered a white pair as well. They only come in full sizes so I sized down from my usual 6.5 to a size 6 and they work really well for me.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Hi, I noticed you have the Marle top in two sizes. Would you recommend sizing up? I’m considering a purchase and am unsure.

I’d recommend going with the smaller size – it runs big and I prefer how the smaller size sits, particularly on the neckline.
