It’s been a hot minute since I’ve had a chance to bash out a blog post. We’ve just moved house and as always, I’ve completely underestimated what a mammoth job it always is. And I’m truly amazed at the stuff we’ve accumulated, especially since having kids. We took the opportunity to cull a lot of our things before the move but there were some days where I was convinced that our junk spawned overnight… Thankfully, we’re now officially in our new place – it’s been a couple of nights, we’re still surrounded by boxes, but we’re hoping to get through the bulk of the unpacking over the coming days.

In today’s post I’m sharing an outfit I wore a couple of weeks ago to the office, as I really love its simplicity and the neutral tones. I’ve been relaxing my work ensembles in recent months, partly due to the current vibe of the office, but also because I’m most comfortable in business casual right now – it’s hitting the right note for me given in-person meetings are on pause for the time being.

Surprisingly, our winter hasn’t been as chilly in comparison to years past, so I’m still making use of my trench coats and light outerwear. I’ve got this Everlane Drape Trench Coat in multiple colours (see here for my review) and I really love the proportions.
Accessories wise, both my bag and shoes were secondhand purchases. They have both been on high rotation which makes those purchases all the more rewarding! I’ve previously written a blog post about shopping high end secondhand, you can have a read of it here.
As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re all staying safe.
P.S. My latest designer belt (having worn by Gucci belt exclusively for four years) and four ways I’ve styled my Toteme Annecy Coat.
