Earlier this year, I decided that I was upping my pants game. No longer am I spending money on pants that look great but aren’t comfortable enough to sit in for more than 10 minutes. Also, good riddance to pants that crease easily and are made of high maintenance fabrics demanding expensive trips to the dry cleaner. From now on, it’s comfortable trousers that fit and feel like a dream. Too much to ask? I thought so too, but even I outdid myself.
Every woman should have a pair of pants that make her feel amazing, and for me, I’ve got nothing but praise for my favourite pair – The Frankie Shop Bea Trousers. If you’re in the same boat as me with your pants game, I invite you to come along with me for the ride, while I list all the things I love about these pants!

The Frankie Shop Bea pants are your classic, dictionary definition of business-casual work pants – but the best possible version of that. Tailored but relaxed, a versatile straight leg style that look great both cropped and full-length (depending on your height and preference) and low maintenance. They’re machine-washable and they’re made from a wrinkle resistant fabric so you can be sitting at your desk for hours and not worry about making an entrance into your next meeting as ‘Crease Lightning’ (yessss, I made that up!).
They’re the pants you’ll want to have in multiple colours… which is exactly what I’ve done by adding the chocolate version to my wardrobe. The Bea pants are up for anything – pair them with a blazer and heels and you’re boardroom ready, and wear them with flats and a tee when off-duty and you look effortlessly chic. Here are four of the many ways that I’ve enjoyed styling them:
#1 – S/S Business Casual

I did have them taken up by the tailor – I’m 158 cm 🙂
Hello, I was wondering about the size of these. Do you think you could’ve gone a size down and they still would fit?
I’m the same size as you but was after a slightly more fitted look.
Thank you 🙂

It’s really only around the waist that you need to be concerned about when it comes to fit, and I feel the trousers would be too tight on my waist if I were to size down to an XS. Hope that helps! x
My pant size is 26. Height 167. I’m normally size S for everything, or size 34/36 depending on the brands. I got a size S of the Bea pants after seeing your review, but it’s simply not flattering around my bum area. Looks way too loose and totally flat and droopy. I compared vs. The model mod shot on the bum, and it does not look like it. Waist wise it’s okay but can be tighter. The black one is more fitted than the beige, even though both size S. I also got the Gelso pants in size S, and they are even worse size wise. I’m disappointed and want to try a size smaller… 🙁

oh how disappointing! it sounds like the smaller size might work better on you.
