Celine Sangle Bag Dupe

I’m on a bit of a roll with dupes, having recently shared this fantastic dupe for The Row’s Bare Sandals.  Dupes are a great way to get the look for less, particularly when you don’t want to pay the hefty designer price tags.  And while I treat myself every so often to a luxury purchase, only a small percentage of designer pieces on my wish lists ultimately get added to my shopping cart because it’s just not feasible for me to consume luxury pieces all the time.  So, I mix high end and high street to build up my collection.

I recently treated myself to a pre-owned Celine Sangle Bag that had been on my wish list for some time.  Having never owned a bucket bag, which is by no means a new shape, I’m totally hooked!  It’s amazingly functional, comfortable to wear but it’s also a timeless shape given its simple silhouette.

Same same but different!

Since adding the Sangle to my collection, I’ve had tunnel vision for bucket bags and the bucket bag silhouette, and I’ve come across this fantastic dupe for the Sangle that is both a chic and functional option.

While the Celine Sangle Bag retails for $3,500 AUD ($2,400 USD), the Everlane Studio Bag retails for $198 USD ($277 AUD).  It’s made of genuine Italian leather, has a microsuede lining, fits a 13” laptop and has a thick and adjustable shoulder strap (something that doesn’t come with the Celine Sangle).

The Everlane Studio Bag looks to be a great every day bag, particularly if you tend to carry a lot of things with you. Whether it be for work, a baby bag or a weekend carry-all, it’s one of those timeless silhouettes that will never go out of style.
